Literacy
Literacy is often associated with the ability to read and write. However, it is also about making sense of and engage in everything we read, write, listen to and talk about. This means that thanks to literacy our students will develop the ability understand what counts in order to communicate it.
Science
Science is valued by society because the application of scientific knowledge helps to satisfy many basic human needs and improve living standards. Finding a cure for cancer and a clean form of energy are just two topical examples.
Writing
Writing equips us with communication and thinking skills. Writing expresses who we are as people. Writing makes our thinking and learning visible and permanent. Writing fosters our ability to explain and refine our ideas to others and ourselves.
Social Education
Social Education helps children (and parents!) learn skills and attitudes that help them manage emotions, feel and show empathy for others, make responsible decisions and other skills that are necessary to being a good student, citizen and worker.
Mathematics
